TAS Favorite Independence Day Cocktails!

The Fourth of July is here! We hope your weekend is full of barbecues, family, fireworks and, of course, delicious cocktails! Today on the TAS blog we’re sharing twists on our favorite cocktails for the holiday weekend.

Mojito

Our ideal way to kickoff the weekend is with a refreshing mojito, and we think a watermelon, blueberry mojito sounds even better! We love this delicious recipe by The Clean Dish, which calls for sparkling water, mint leaves, blueberries and watermelon juice (in addition to the rum, of course!). To make your drink extra festive, we suggest garnishing with a star-shaped watermelon.

Margarita

We can’t resist sharing more watermelon deliciousness in margarita form. This frozen drink is sure to keep you refreshed during the warm days this weekend. And, we love the watermelon ice cubes, which also serve as a super cute garnish!

Old-Fashioned

There’s no better way to celebrate the Fourth of July than with an Old-Fashioned. We love this take on the classic, American cocktail. Adding blackberries is sure to make sipping extra delicious.

Sangria

If you’re looking for the perfect sweet drink for the weekend, we suggest making this Red, White and Blue Sangria, made with strawberries, blueberries and pineapple. This cocktail is simple to make and looks gorgeous with the freshly cut fruit.

Vodka Lemonade

Lemonade is always our go-to drink for the summer, so this strawberry, basil twist can never fail when hosting a BBQ. This strawberry-colored drink by What's Gaby Cooking will work perfectly with your red, white and blue décor!
